Waxwings (Bombycilla garrulus)

It was 1.4 centigrade, which means it is thawing, I do believe it, I think!!!!!!!!
These are pictures of the Waxwings was taken way back in December 2012.

  21. I love your waxwing photos. They visit us here in eastern Texas in late February/early March. I look forward to their arrival. I was away when they came last year and I missed them. They only stay long enough to strip a red-tipped photinia (about three days) that is about 12 feet long, 6 feet deep, and 10 feet high.

  27. More great Waxwing images Bob. It seems that the Rowan with the pink berries (Sorbus Pink Pagoda, I think) are their favourites. Wanted to plant one in my garden but the wife wasn't keen!

    Here in the Netherlands they are also seen everywhere except when I'm looking for. I never see.
