Great Spotted Woodpecker (Dendrocopos major)

It snowed, and snowed and snowed. We had a lot of white stuff.  I couldn't go out, 'cause what I am, disabled. I hope it has gone away the next morning.
This one is I thought was for the "delete" box, so I would try it out.

  3. To cudownie, że patrząc przez okno mogłeś zobaczyć takiego ślicznego ptaka i zrobić mu świetne zdjęcie. Pozdrawiam.
It's wonderful that you could look out the window to see such a lovely bird and make him a great photo. Yours.

  4. I've always loved woodpeckers and hearing them during hikes in the Rockies are a wonderful memory for me. Ya know, I'm not sure I ever got a really good look at them...what beautiful captures you have here! Hopefully your snow will disappear as quickly as ours and your'll be out soon hunting these beauties.

  10. I'm very glad you didn't delete them Bob, they are lovely.

We have had snow since yesterday afternoon. We won't be going anywhere at least not by car, it would mean digging the drive out first so will put up with it for as long as possible :-)

  24. Bob, we have a Great Spotted Woodpecker that comes to our tree and pecks away. I have to say, he is here only when the sun shines.

Hope that snow is gone tomorrow, too! I'm so glad that you have a magic bag...
