Bewick's Swan (Cygnus columbianus)

A differnt type of Swan today, filmed at Slimbridge WWT, their home for this winter. Every year, there are a large amount of them, coming from Siberia. It might get cold, but in Siberia, it is nothing compared to what would have done, brrrrrr. Anyway, they have started coming over to England. Oh yes, it didn't RAIN today.

    Regards,

  22. Beautiful swan and glad it was nice outside for you. This Bewick's must have been important because I see that name with several bird species...including a wren that lives here.
