House Sparrows both sexes (Passer domesticus)

It was a dullish sort of day, well, most of it. I thought it was a good test, on whether it could react with out any sun, tell me what do you think?

Now, that is Rock and Roll

  7. A very underrated bird. I hope we don't look at these in the future as there numbers get smaller and wonder what we could have done.

  13. You don't really need the extra light of the sun, but everything looks a little bit friendlier with sun. Nevertheless a beautiful series again, Bob. Have a nice weekend. Greetings, Joke

  28. Thanks for sharing these rare pics. House sparrows have almost become extinct due rapid modernization and pollution in Indian cities. They can still be spotted in rural homes though.

  34. It looks like your new camera deals with dull weather very well Bob! Lovely photos of sweet little birds that so many people overlook and that are much scarcer than they used to be.

Love the Wheatears on the last post too!

  35. You can't ask better of a camera that takes such good pictures even in dull weather, albeit it's not the camera that takes the photo, it's the photographer!!! Splendid
photos of these sweet little sparrows.
