The River Severn

I am sorry this, but has nothing to do with birds and nature, it is Hovercraft on the River Severn. If fact, it was like banging your head between two cans, it scared off the little birds and the big ones. Anyway, it was raining, so there.

 Ah, this is so natural.

  1. Właściciele poduszkowców lubią swoje przyjemności i nie obchodzi, że to hałasuje i straszy ptaki. Przykro mi, że niepotrzebnie byłeś nad rzeka. Pozdrawiam.
Hovercraft owners like their pleasures, and do not care that it makes noise and startles the birds. I am sorry that you were needlessly over the river. Yours.

    ...ah, the waves--so lovely!

  13. like the BIG LOUD airboats some people ride around here...chasing off the wildlife...and the inconsiderate ones who don't slow down and just about flip us over in our canoe!

  28. I usually find the birds and other wildlife dont get too scared when I'm out in my hovercraft. I have taken some wonderfull photos of the wild life around the lochs of Scotland. The one sure thing I know that scares the wild life away is the sight of a human. The animals have a built in response to flea when they see a human up close. Check out some of my videos on you tube and you will see how close I can get without birds flying away. I would also like to add hovercraft are very environmentally freindly as they do not create a wake, they do not damage the ground, plants or wildlife that they pass over. I will agree some hovercraft can be noisy, but there are a lot of new craft designs coming through now that have addressed the noise issue.

Some nice photos by the way.

My you tube user name is highland hovercraft.
