Egyptian Goose

I first saw a couple of them at Slimbridge, that was 4 years ago. Now, there was only one or the other is nesting, hum, I think its too late. Not brilliant I would say.

  9. What an exotic and lovely goose! I love the circles around his eyes...perhaps to shield them from the bright sunshine? Your shots are MOMA quality, as always!

  10. Bob, great capture! They look quite different in the water than they do on land. I've only seen them at the local zoo and they are always on land!

  30. Lovely, detailed photos again Bob. I saw one at Draycote Water a couple of years ago. It stayed for months and I hoped it would return last year but sadly it didn't. I have never seen any others anywhere near me.

I loved the 'dancing' Common Tern photos on the last post too!
