I first saw a couple of them at Slimbridge, that was 4 years ago. Now, there was only one or the other is nesting, hum, I think its too late. Not brilliant I would say.
What an exotic and lovely goose! I love the circles around his eyes...perhaps to shield them from the bright sunshine? Your shots are MOMA quality, as always!

Lovely, detailed photos again Bob. I saw one at Draycote Water a couple of years ago. It stayed for months and I hoped it would return last year but sadly it didn't. I have never seen any others anywhere near me.
I loved the 'dancing' Common Tern photos on the last post too!
Brilliant pictures Bob, very interesting looking bird, hope there's a mate somewhere. I recently saw one of these in Regent Park in London but didn't know what it was, so thanks for the ID.
