Wheatear (River Severn, Lydney)

It was nice this morning, sunny and the wind had stopped. I went about my spotting and I got one straight away. The Wheatear. It was letting me photograph it from about 5 meters, so I didn't spoilt it.

  12. ...five meters seems very close to get to a bird. I've been able to feed them out of my hand, but only the tiny scavenger ones at riverside cafés. This one is pirdy (southern for 'pretty', but a cross of pretty and bird, too :-)
