With drink in hand, I headed for the porch, My anger to assail – But my dove appeared, Then, startled, fled, So I sat down to brood.
She flew back and cooed, As I in wonder sat, To see her pecking there – Her eyes alert, her head To me turned, bob To feed, then back again.
I heard her silent song, Saw, poised, simple grace – Anger, assuaged, flew away, So peacefully and pure – My drink transformed, I went inside and smiled.
I think this dove is trying to tell you a message: the sun will soon shine. Just look at her eyes! (or his eyes--black, purple-red, baby-blue--inspires me for a color of a future bag). Nature is so creative. And you got this intense and lovely shot!

Your photos are incredible! My favorite of all birds are ducks. You don't see many eiders. Your shots of the eider were spectacular.
