Blackbird (By the 1st Lake, Harbour Road, Lydney)

Believe it or not, I haven't taken any shots of birds, I've been used to those from my "little bag". Now, I'm running out. There has been bad weather, and there was one day I could have taken my camera, but, I had to pick up my son. It is very nice to be with him for a night. Let's have a happy birds day for the camera.

  8. Lovely photos of the Blackbird, Bob. It has rained here for most of the day but now it is too late to do much the sun has come out! So nice that you were able to spend time with your son.

That was a magnificent shot of the hawk on yesterday's post!

Wow... MY blackbirds sure aren't this beautiful, of course it could be the 'amateur' photographer behind the camera!

Bob, you sure know how to bring out the magnificent beauty in everything you photograph, whether it is a common Blackbird or a majestic Eagle!

  18. I like that "bag" of photos myself:) Love the blackbird pics.....it's hard to get shots of all red or black or green birds....and blue ones as well:) But all red and all black are the worst! Nice detail in these photos.

  30. Never knew that an ordinary blackbird could be so beautiful. You have shown him pretty sharp, and even his black plumage is pleasing to the eye.
