Jay (Forest of Dean)

I'm back, and I told you that about me going to hospital: well, I do have sleep apnia, but, because I've got one arm, they can't fit me in until October, and they can't get somebody any earlier, because that would cost too much. And why they can't do it, guess who.....................................
Anyway, the birds, I found nice one, enjoy.

  4. Sorry you have to wait! I have a friend who was able to help his sleep apnea by eliminating dairy products from his diet. It's worth checking into! This jay is just gorgeous! Have never seen anything like it.

  5. It must be terrible to wait for such a long time when it's about your health. In Holland is the same misery. How beautiful these photo's of the jay are. Last sunday I was amazed by the way a jay was declaring the war to a hawk in my tree. The hawk left. Have no photo's of him battery of my camera was empty.
    Have nice evening

  22. I am completely with what Phil said!

And Bob: you will photograph many beautiful birds till October! :-)

I learned more about this condition on the Internet and found many educational sites. There are suggestion for non surgical treatment also. But probably you checked that out by yourself too.
Don't let the waiting period affect your mood too much - the glass is half full. I wish you good! >-)

  25. These images of the Jay are top notch Bob, whew took my breath away, just amazing captures! Sleep Apnea, and no appointment until October. I must say, then, if you can, you need to either sleep sitting up, possibly in a recliner, or such, or you need to have someone place two flat firm pillows underneath the head of your mattress. You should not be lying flat to sleep. Best of good wishes~
