Black-headed Gull (Lydney Boating Lake)

The Black-headed Gull has almost got into summer as you can see.





I am very sorry, but I will not be commenting on blogs that continue to use it.

    Fantastic photos! It never ceases to amaze me how much the Black-headed Gulls differ in their various stages of moult! Some are in their summer finery (as yours is) and then others are still in the depths of winter!

  31. I grew up with Gulls as a kid......there were lots of them. These would have been nice to have had around for a little variation:)

  32. I have never seen these gull before with their black caps. They are really cool looking birds.
    Your photos of them are beautiful. Love the ripples and reflections as well as the gulls. :)
