Bittern (Slimbridge WWT)

A bad day, so I have been doing a bit of photoshop, enjoy.

    by reading the comments, i guess it's kind of rare to SEE this bird? much less get a picture of it??!
    well...it's not too surprising that YOU got a wonderful picture of it. now i'd like to see what's at the bottom half of that loooong neck!

  21. Beautiful Bittern Bob! I missed a good shot of one this morning as it flew right by me, right into the reeds, where I could not longer see it:) I'll just enjoy your photo!

  22. That is one hot shot!!! They are so difficult to catch in the reeds. When an Arizonan spots a Bittern, they wet themselves. Seriously.
