This morning wasn't any good for photographing, but, it was later in the afternoon. I caught sight of the Willow Warblers, there must have been about ten or twelve darting between branch to branch. It was lovely to see.

There I was, happily going about things, when I noticed a Swallow standing on a cars aerial. Out comes my kit, ie. photographers, took a snap. I thought that they had left, but, it was still a breath of summer left. They should have been in Africa by now. But, no.

The prettiest and hungriest bird alive, which is a joke. That is why he/she is shot and abused. But, this one is still alive. Oh, its not very pretty.

Two different Chaffinches, the first is ok, but, the second one has Bumblefoot, Avian pox. It is horrible to you and I, but, it doesn't affect the poor birds.

Mandarin Ducks (Forest of Dean)

Up to the Forest again, and I saw the male again. It was a long time since I had him in his plumage. There were 6 males 3 young ones and 1 female. A lot of work for the female.

It rained this morning which is a bit late. I got out at approximately 11.30hrs. This made it immediately 3 hours to play with, not enough. So, I didn't get much.
