Fantastic,Bob! First, congrats for your French on blog! That was nice :) Second, your adder Aspis is really beautiful; What stroke me are its red eyes! We have similar ones in France, but in "my" south, only one species is very present, but this specific species lives nowhere else! You can see a few specimens here, with explanations: http://1000-pattes.blogspot.com/search/label/Aspic They are truly fascinating, and fairly lethargic compared to some grass snakes. This is why they aren't that dangerous when you know how to manipulate them! Beautiful pictures indeed!
Bob, what excellent pictures of the Adder. Sharp detail - it is easy to see the scales, color pattern, and even the eyes. Fascinating and misunderstood creatures, both in myth and reality. Still, keep safe!
Great shots Bob. I love snakes as I love every other animal. They are all perfect and unique in its genre. Well done. It's always a pleasure to come to your page. Greetings
