Chaffinch (Forest of Dean)

Two different Chaffinches, the first is ok, but, the second one has Bumblefoot, Avian pox. It is horrible to you and I, but, it doesn't affect the poor birds.

  7. Bob , What causes this. It's a calcium excrescence or disease?

  23. Never saw this condition on birds. I have seen the disease around the eyes of finches but don't know what it is called. It eventually blinds them.
