Mallard Duck, still is here again.

She was still here, with the fisherman's hook. No chance froM the RSPCA, so I rang them up. They said sorry, but it will be done later. Well, I went off to see something, it was a Grass Snake. I was told it would be where, well I can't you that. But, it turned out to be a Grass Snake skin, it is ready to shed. When I returned to the lake, there was no sign of the Mallard Duck........... Which,  is a good sign.

BY the way, I've never realised that there's something like Mottephobia! Shame that your daughter can't enjoy the beauty of the butterflies.

  8. I'm glad you sorted the duck. The snake would be looking very smart now in it's new jacket.

  12. Oh Bob, what an awful shame, and I can only imagine the feeling in your gut when you saw she still had the hook in place. I do hope that while you were off on other adventure with snake/snake skin, that someone rescued her. Please do check back with them and let us know how she got along. Take care~
