Female Skylark (Lydney, the Marshes)

It's been raining, not the sort of day that helps the photographer. So, here I am, looking at my newer photos, and came across these little birds running through the grasses, see if you can find them.

  6. Skylarks are such Wonderful birds...people tend to right them off as little brown jobs but I think they have a certain beauty...and as for that song!
