Black-headed Gull (Lydney Gold Club)

It's got a brown head, so why it called a black headed?

  12. Good question, Bob. I posed a similar question when I worked for the US Navy. As a US Air Force vet I knew what a blue uniform looked like and it wasn't the black color of the sailor's "dress blues". My dress blues WERE blue!
