I went out on my bike, or disabled scooter, to see my home town. As soon as I was going to my birding and nature site, it was terrible, they have chopped down almost every tree and the land were sights I couldn't believe. The little town of Lydney is far away, help, I want to escape that town...........
Poor you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame! There seems to be too much chopping down of trees and hedgerows without a thought for the wildlife lately.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of the Goldeneye! I would love to have got that close when I photographed some.
I'm sorry for the loss of the habitat and beauty. :(
ReplyDeleteBeautiful goldeneye!
Wow Bob. Is that the local crew at work now? Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot :)
ReplyDeleteWow Bob! What a shame, and what a lovely photo!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry for you.

sorry to hear that!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photograph!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen a hurricane, tornado, or natural diaster hits, that is hard enough, but when man takes down the trees and for not a good cause, or even in the faintest of a conservative manner, makes me sad....sorry this has happened~
wow this is a terrible news about the forest once again... They are specialising in destroying all birds habitats!! Gosh... This common goldeneye shot is wonderfulll... Heye BTW be careful, per se, the barrow's goldeney is also European ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat is what local authority is for Bob. They want chopping down. A wonderful shot of the Goldeneye.
