  3. Lieber Bob,
ich mag Schlangen - aber nur aus der Distanz. Anfassen würde ich sie niemals.
    Tolle Bilder.
    Liebe Grüße

  4. Great shots Bob. I would have given it a wide berth. Not keen on Snakes, Worms or Slugs.

  5. Quite a coincidence Bob! I was out looking in what I thought was a likely place for Adders this afternoon but with no luck.

  7. Oh My...I had no idea that you had such creatures near by. While quite beautiful, also dangerous, and these look like you got fairly close...wow... Intense eyes, you be careful.
Curious were you birding when you got this, or did you set out to photograph them...

  9. Grand shots Bob. I just don't associate your forests with snakes. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

  13. I don't think I have ophiophobia. I don't think there's anything abnormal about my fear of snakes. I think I have a fearful respect that comes from a survival instinct - grew up sharing my environment with two deadly species.

Seen like this in a photo I can admire their beauty and admire the steady nerves of anyone who captures their image.
