Bar-headed Goose (Lydney boating late)

It was pretty bad this morning, but I managed to catch the Bar-headed Goose, a real suprise. It wasn't in the water, which you can't see as it was still iced up. The goose was alone, grazing in the field opposite.

Pretty nice catch!

  1. Bob a superb find and a lovely beast. Hardly any ice left up here. What lens do you use...Okay by me if it's a secret?

  2. I used a Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM lens and Canon Extender EF 2x II. Is that OK with you Adrian.

  10. Lovely shots!
It's been cold here, so other than the occasional flock of starlings the only critters I've seen are crows.

    Have a Happy New Year!
