Tufted Duck

Everywhere that I went, there weren't any birds, so, on my way home, I stopped at Lydney boating lake. There I found a Tufted Duck swimming in a little patch, (iced up) and it was little, plus the other birds. He had nearly nothing to swim about in. Poor little waterfowls.

  4. We've been keeping a close eye on the waterfowl populating the stock pond on the road to town. It's completely iced over and has been for the past week or so. Must be tough for them to feed in these conditions.

  5. Poor cold duck. Did you bring him a hot water bottle?
