Migrant Hawker (Lydney canal)

I thought that it was the end of Dragonfly, butterflies and Wasps, but it wasn't. Today was a very nice day, the sun was up, there were no clouds, in fact, it felt like summer.

  8. We had a beautiful sunny day here too yesterday. Lovely shots of the Migrant Hawker! I haven't seen butterflies or dragonflies for a while now but it has been very Autumnal here lately...and wet :(

  9. The unusually mild good weather had a similar effect on my patch too Bob, with a variety of Butterflies, a Migrant Hawker, and Hornet all being seen. Also good numbers of wasps were feeding on Ivy flowers.

P.s. Great shots of the Migrant Hawker
