Yes they do like they smile, lol. We used to have many in our pond for many years, but then this year is the first time I have not seen even one. Just like that they moved some where else. Excellent images, it is amazing bird, I always was amazed about their feet like a duck, and to be able to sit on the high trees. Anna :)
Lovely shots Bob. I like these birds; but then I'm not a fisherman lol Like Bill says, they're not popular with them. They always remind me of a Loch Ness monster when they swim like that :)
Ciao Bob, in China I saw these birds with a technique addestrarev terrible, the ring around his neck that prevents him from eating the fish caught is very cruel to me.
I love the cormorants. And this is really funny...
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Thanks Silvia, they do smile!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, he/she smiles - wonderful shots of this beautiful bird.
ReplyDeleteWish you a nice evening:-)
Cool Bob. I love the last portrait a lot! Were you close? The details are crisp and really sharp!

ReplyDeleteGreat photos of a bird not so well liked by fishermen. Lovely compositions.

ReplyDeleteChris, I was a bit close.
ReplyDeleteAnna,
I see that you think that they smile.
Bill, sad ain't it!
Looks like a Loch Ness monster Keith, I never thought like that, your right of course.
Elettra, that is terrible, it needs banning.
Glennis, you're right.
