Calf (The marshes, Lydney)

The calf was wobbling, first steps.
And, wobbled around trying to feed his mum
This is when he'd just been born
Now, it's walkies time.
The mothers time, come and drink. It is that time, does he ever think, that he is going to be a meal for anybody.

  3. This is a female calf and will one day be another milker.they do dot cull female fresian cattle unless its baron. most other breeds of cattle are bred for meat male and female.
this little beauty as soon as its calved in 18 months time(if not Baron) if it takes it will get the milkers markings the same as its mother.in a few days the farmer will ear tag the calf all cattle have to be registered. mainly because of rustling. A calf can be worth over one thousand guinea, all cattle and horses are still sold in guinea,
