Great Crested Grebes (Forest of Dean)

I shot this one from behind reeds, nearly all of them were like that.
This one was nearly there, but it wasn't right.
This is the nesting joint, but not now. This one is waiting for them.
This one I liked, even though it is a bit blurred.

  3. they are very atmospheric through the reeds and the birds have made wonderful, I love them all, but the last one is absolutely fantastic!

    Keith, the one that is on the nest is quite good, its not very often you get a look at the nest.

  8. Hi Bob, just want to apologise for not coming to say hello at the grebes on Sunday, but I didn't want to disturb them (or you) too much ..... and then you'd gone! No doubt we'll meet again, perhaps when there are some little striped youngsters to snap. Brian
