It was a day which had gloomy parts and the rain makes another part. If I hadn't mentioned it, I'm afraid somebody will tell you. I didn't take those pictures today, as I was stuck indoors.
I really don't know what makes the birds look so different. I guess the ones we have are offspring of those found here before this country was "discovered" by people from Europe.
Bob the third image is great, can't understand the argument over a twig mind.
