Travelling man.

Song Thrush
Greylag Goose
I was just travelling about the forest taking photos of anything. It was a glorious day.

  1. Bob, is there anything that distinguishes a song thrush from a mistle thrush. Apart from singing!

  2. Good for you Bob, and you took lovely photos - the one of Blackbird is my favourite:)

  3. Yes Adrian, Its upperparts are paler, more grey-brown than on a Song Thrush and there are white edges to many of the wing feathers and the corners of the tail. The face is generally paler making the dark eye more prominent and giving a 'wide-eyed' expression.
I am using BirdGuides as a reference.

Great Joo, I like it when somebody looks and then makes up there own mind.

  4. It really is good to get out isn't it Bob. A great trio of shots too.

  5. I can see your pictures, it really was a fabulous day, because even the birds look happy ...
